The book we are blogging about today is called Wanted: The Perfect Pet, by Fiona Roberson, it is for grades twos and threes. I can make lots of connections to this book like text to self, text to text, text to world, and text to media. I can make this connection to myself because right now I really want a hamster but I can’t have one just like the boy in the book. This book reminds me of the book “Martha Speaks” because the duck can talk in the book and in “Martha Speaks” the dog, Martha, can speak. This book also reminds me of the world because lots of people want something but don’t get exactly what they want. The book reminds me of a TV show I watched, it was called “Dog With A Blog” and that dog was perfect friends with the kids.
